PC16 (risk management and mitigation): This is the strongest alignment: participants identify stored-energy hazards, assess unsafe springs, cables, drums and brackets, determine when work should stop, and apply practical risk controls. PC55 (record keeping and document control): The course specifically teaches contemporaneous documentation of defects and safety concerns through photographs, written records and customer/builder communications, including retaining those records after completion. PC59 (risks associated with documentation): Participants learn why accurate, dated records of identified hazards, recommendations and declined work are important for managing professional and legal exposure. |
