Individual CPD Pack

Six recognised CPDs. More than half your formal CPD for the year, in one purchase.

Six full courses from the whole catalogue, chosen when a project, a code change or a renewal deadline tells you what you need. For architects that is six of the ten formal hours you have to log, sorted in one decision.

Built for

  • Architects and building designers
  • Energy assessors
  • Certifiers and building surveyors
  • Anyone carrying a yearly CPD requirement

Buy the six now, choose them when the work tells you what you need.

A CPD requirement is a whole year long, but you rarely know in January what will land on your desk in August. The pack settles the buying decision once and leaves the choosing open, so each course goes on something that is actually in front of you.

The habit

CPD gets remembered in the last month

Most people go looking for points when the deadline is close, which means taking whatever is available rather than whatever is useful.

The cost

A point is a point, an hour is still an hour

A course that does not touch your projects still costs you the hour. Choosing late usually means choosing badly.

The fix

Six in hand, spent as things come up

A code change, a knock-back, a new building class, a client asking something you have not dealt with before. Take the course then, while it matters.

How the pack works.

1

Buy the pack

One payment of $499. Six recognised CPDs sit in your account, ready whenever you are.

2

Choose a course

Browse the catalogue and enrol in anything you like. No restriction by profession, topic or state.

3

Complete and certify

Work through it online at your own pace. Stop, start and rewind as you go, then finish the short quiz to get your certificate.

4

Come back

Five left. Use them across the year, and your record builds in one place as you go.

The whole catalogue is open to you.

The pack does not draw on a fixed list. Every course is one recognised CPD, one hour, certificated on completion, and the architect courses are mapped to the NSCA 2021 performance criteria so you can show exactly which competencies you covered.

What six courses looks like in practice.

Three examples of how people spend a pack. None of these is a fixed bundle, they are just combinations that make sense for a particular year and a particular role.

01
A registered architect

Covering the code year and the conduct requirement

What changed, how it lands on commercial and apartment work, the obligations sitting behind every set, and the detail most likely to catch a set out.

  • For architects, the courses are mapped to the NSCA 2021 performance criteria
  • Independent and Australian, and never a product pitch

What you might be wondering.

Which courses can I choose?

Any of them. The pack is not tied to a profession, a state or a topic, so you can take six architect courses, six energy assessor courses, or a mix of whatever the year throws at you.

How much of my yearly requirement does this cover?

It depends on your registration. Architects need 20 hours a year of which 10 must be formal, so six recognised CPDs covers more than half the formal requirement. Building designers and energy assessors sit under different schemes, so check yours, but six full courses makes a serious dent in any of them.

Do the six expire?

No. There is no end date on the pack. Take one this week and the last one in eighteen months if that is how your year runs.

Are these recognised CPD hours?

Yes. Every course is one recognised CPD and one hour, and you receive a certificate for each. Your CPD record and certificates are stored in your dashboard so you can produce them whenever you need to.

Can I share the six with a colleague?

No. The pack sits with one person, because certificates are issued in the name of whoever completes the course. If you are buying for several people, the Team CPD Blocks are built for that.

Is this a subscription?

No. You pay once. There is nothing recurring, nothing to cancel, and your access and your record stay with you.

What if I need more than six?

Buy a second pack, or add single courses at $99 each whenever you need them. Nothing stops you doing both.
